This batch of mugs is featured in our sample sale because it was produced and glazed with a creamy white glaze (rather than the usual sleek white glaze). It is the same thicker coating featured on our yunomi cups and mezcalero mini copitas. Beautiful and unique, as shown in the last photos.

Handcrafted in a woman-owned studio in Puebla, a region of central México.
Made of grès porcelain stoneware, a dense clay fired at high temperatures, resulting in a more durable product than other types of pottery. The benefits of stoneware include its near 0% water absorption (i.e. waterproofing) and resilience to temperature changes. These mugs are made to stand the test of time.
