MEET THE ARTISAN
Glass Blowing Studios
Glass blowing is an ancient art form that has been practiced by Mexican artisans since the 16th century.
We work with glass blowing studios located in Baja, Guadalajara and Monterrey. All studios utilize only recycled glassware from local village communities to handblown the glassware. Piles of cast-off liquor and wine bottles, vases, and other glass are reborn into beautiful and unique pieces.
Each and every item is individually hand-blown, featuring unique variations in size and shape, making every piece a true work of art.
This glassware is not only gorgeous but the glasses are heavy!! I love them. After ordering 6, I’ve placed a second order and I’m getting rid of my cheap glassware. This is product is true artistry and quality that’s hard to find.
I own two of these amazing tumblers and I absolutely LOVE them! We are currently traveling long term in an RV, and these are the ONLY glass item that I will
Bring with us, because they are so durable. Seriously way more durable and sturdy than even mason jars.
We use our glasses every single day, multiple times a day. We use it for water glasses for brushing teeth, tea or cocoa during the daytime, and wine or cocktails at night!!!! The pictures truly
Don’t do them justice. These tumblers kind of glow a pretty blue color. And I cannot understate how thick and sturdy these things are. They will absolutely not ever tip over, and can survive lots of use and abuse. If you are considering purchasing these, just don’t hesitate. They are absolutely worth it. Literally the only cups I keep in my RV apart from our stainless steel travel mugs:)
