Small clay bowl shaped by hand and finished with strips of dried palm. Perfectly sized for all your snacking needs: salty nuts, olives, crackers, M&M's, pretzels, small candies ... We love this rustic bowl for everything from salsas and dips to jewelry storage.
These clay bowls are handmade by a group of women in a small town in the mountains of southern Baja, Mexico. The clay is locally harvested and prepared; then each piece is shaped by hand and ground fired. The ground firing process creates unique markings, resulting in shades of burnt red and orange, hints of gold shimmer and dramatic black markings. Every bowl is different (some more red-hued while others are more black from fire marks). Each piece is signed by the maker on the bottom.
SIZE: 4" D x 1.5" HCOLOR: Burnt red and orange with subtle flecks of gold, beige undertones and black fire markingsCARE: Please handle these pieces with care.
