Oven safe, smoked clay dish handcrafted in Oaxaca, México and intended for queso fundido (or whatever your heart desires!). A petite 6" diameter size makes it perfectly portioned for 1-2 people. We also love using it as a serving platter for cheese, sliced meats or holding tortillas.
Shaped from locally sourced clay in the Atzompa region of Oaxaca, then ground-fired. The smoke and flames create unique designs on every platter. The interior is glazed, making it resistant to moisture and easy to clean.
The Oaxaca region of México creates pottery like nowhere else, combining ancient techniques with local clay and contemporary designs.
Make it a collection with the smoked clay dinner plate, salad plate, or bowl.
Color: Smoked clay (the colors and patterns on each plate are unique and different. Some pieces feature more black or gray tones, while some are more beige. The unpredictable markings are a result of the organic process, made by flames and smoke).
Handcrafted in: Oaxaca, México
Size: 6” Diameter x 1.5" H (may vary slightly)

Care: This dish is durable, hefty and finely crafted. It can be used in the oven (placed directly on the rack), and washed in a dishwasher; however, to best protect and preserve its longevity, we do recommend hand washing. Avoid sudden temperature changes, and allow to completely cool before washing.
