Red clay serving bowl finished with strips of handwoven dried palm. Excellent for storing fruit on the counter, for use in food prep or serving chips, sliced bread, popcorn ... you name it.
These bowls are made by a group of women in a small town in the mountains of southern Baja, Mexico. The clay is locally harvested and prepared; then each piece is shaped by hand and fired in a kiln. The kiln preserves the burnt orange hue of the clay. Every bowl is slightly different in size, shape and coloring, and each one is signed by the maker on the bottom.
