Designed and handcrafted in Guadalajara, a region of Mexico with a long history of ceramics production. Simple, earthy tones and a stonelike texture make this small vase both distinctive and stunning. The colors on each piece will vary, and some have more shades of terra-cotta.
We work with an artist, Dario, who designs and crafts each piece in his small studio. He utilizes local clay from the Tlaquepaque region and is inspired by the different pre-Hispanic cultures of Mexico. He uses both a kiln and a pit to finish pieces, which results in a unique style of pottery that is both contemporary and rustic.
