Organically produced honey (miel) from the state of Hidalgo in central México. Produced by Lo Selecto, a Hidalgo-based business collaborating with small farmers to source organically produced and artisanally made specialty foods including honey, cacao and coffee.

Delicious on a slice of fresh baguette drizzled over a dab of butter, as a sweetener for coffee or tea, and layered on oatmeal or ice cream.

This honey is sourced from the apiaries found among the humid forests in the "huasteca" region of Hidalgo, México. This delicious honey has notes of citrus, a dense body, reddish-amber color and intense flavor obtained through extraction, filtration, and decantation "in situ" process. It's 100% natural product, and may crystallize over time.
