The state of Oaxaca is known as the capital of mezcal, so we curated a gift box filled with items handmade in this special region of southern México. The gift box includes a set of four black clay copitas, a beautiful black clay tray for serving tasting salts and garnishments, and agave worm salt. The black clay (barro negro) items are made in San Bartolo de Coyotepec, a town famous worldwide for making this special type of black pottery. Add your favorite bottle of mezcal (not included) to complete the set.
Every box is finished with a ribbon, ready for gifting. If a handwritten note is desired, please include the text in the message at checkout.
Each gift box contains:
A set of 4 black clay copitas.
Smooth and round black clay copitas (little cups), handmade in Oaxaca, Mexico and intended for sipping mezcal. The spirits will taste delicious in these earthy, mini vessels.
Small Black Clay Plate. The perfect accessory for serving with mezcal. Use it to hold citrus slices and tasting salts.
Agave worm salts. A spicy-salty combo made of roasted and ground worms (from the larvae that inhabit the agave plant), chilies and salts. Traditionally served with orange slices to enhance the mezcal tasting experience. They can also be applied to the rim of a copita or cocktail vessel. 50 grams. Made in Mexico by Sal De Aqui.
